(I) "Talent Cultivation" Characteristic Curriculum System
We have established a three-dimensional curriculum system based on "national curriculum as the foundation, language and culture as the bridge, and individual development as the core."
- 1. Preparatory Stage (First Year): Primarily focuses on Chinese language courses, supplemented with a small number of mathematics and English courses.
- 2. Academic Education Stage: Courses are matched to students' age/grade level (e.g., physics and chemistry are offered in the third year of junior high and the first year of senior high, while mathematics and English are compulsory).
- 3. "Talent Cultivation" Liberal Arts Courses: Includes "Understanding China" cultural courses and traditional Chinese arts (calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, folk music), aiming to cultivate students' global perspective and cross-cultural understanding.
(II) Refined Management System
We implement a comprehensive education management model of "academic mentor + growth partner + life manager."
1. Teaching and Academic Management: We implement small-class teaching, assign an academic mentor to each student, develop personalized learning plans, and focus on academic progress and intellectual development.
2. Life and Growth Support:
- Accommodation: Students will be accommodated in the well-equipped International Student Dormitory, with dedicated life counselors providing 24-hour security and cultural adaptation support.
- Daily Life and Mental Health: Student growth profiles will be established, and regular communication between parents and the school will be maintained. A psychological counseling room will be set up to focus on students' mental health, and a variety of cultural and recreational activities will be organized to promote deep interaction between Chinese and international students.
4. One-Stop Service: The International Department serves as a central point of contact, coordinating school resources to provide efficient and convenient one-stop solutions for students' studies and life in China.
III. Future Development: Multiple Channels to Achieve Dreams
(I) Further Education Options
Students who meet the requirements will receive a high school diploma issued by the school, which is recognized for academic certification purposes; with this diploma and a Chinese proficiency certificate (HSK), students can apply to Chinese universities. Generally, HSK Level 4-5 is sufficient for application, and the school can provide assistance with the application process.
